PEOPLE
ABOUT LLARQ
LLARQ is a small architecture practice by choice. Architecture is also about communication. Clear communication is an essential part of every project. By working in English, Spanish, Italian and Dutch, we make the architectural process accessible and transparent for local and international people. We believe meaningful architecture is built on close collaboration, thoughtful dialogue and personal involvement—from the very first conversation to the completed result.
PEOPLE IN LLARQ
Every project begins with research. Before designing, we take the time to understand the place, the existing building and the people who will inhabit it. We believe the first request is rarely the final one. Through careful observation, curiosity and dialogue, the design process uncovers opportunities that are not immediately visible.
For us, good design is not the starting point; it is the outcome of understanding. Rather than translating requests into drawings, we translate people’s needs into design—creating places that are thoughtful, enduring and deeply connected to the way they are lived.
COLLABORATIONS
We regularly collaborate with QUNNA Architecture, bringing together complementary expertise whenever a project calls for it, while maintaining a single point of contact and a highly personal approach throughout the process.
Our work is informed by experience across international, public and private projects, together with a deep understanding of Cantabria’s architecture, planning regulations and construction traditions. This combination allows us to approach every project with a broad perspective while remaining firmly rooted in its local context.
